We would like to present te updated version of our catalogue, now in its third edition. This has be a complex undertaking that includes recalculating all the tables. Our practical experience played a notable role while we continuously compared theoretical formulas and new DIN 3996 norms.

We at Ghiringhelli optimize the design, the choice of materials and the machining operations when manufacturing our worm wheel sets.
Every size corresponds to a distance between centers of a geometric progression according to the nominal numbers of UNI 2016, except for various cases when the thread is counter-clockwise rotation.

Worm gears in the catalogue are carbiruzed and heat-treated only on the teeth. The two ends, therefore, can be machined according to the customer's needs.
The wheels are made of nickel-bronze.
